Pure Mind

Pure Mind Counselling is a new online counselling service in Ontario. Their mission is to preserve mental health and wellness, and make effective mental healthcare more accessible and affordable.

I was approached by Pure Mind to design this counselling service’s website. They saw a great need for more mental health support, especially since the COVID-19 pandemic.

My Approach

Pure Mind Counselling already had a logo designed previously, but no other branding elements, so I wanted to expand the brand identity more by extending the colour palette, patterns, styles, and other imagery. After some strategy, I designed some brand elements to match the overall feel of the logo and vision they had in mind.

The website lists therapists by their various specialties so that clients can find a match that works for them. The website needed to have easy to find information about the therapists, services, and details about insurance coverage. Clients also needed to be able to easily book an appointment online, so each therapist’s bio has their own unique booking link.

WEB DESIGN

Here is a preview of the Pure Mind website. The colour palette is tranquil, welcoming, and trustworthy. The typography is modern and professional. The overall vibe of the website is calm, approachable, and informative.

The Pure Mind website allows users to easily access information about different types of therapy. They can assess if it’s a fit for them and find a therapist that meets their needs. Users can schedule a counselling session through the Jane booking system.

Commonly asked questions are listed on Pure Mind’s FAQ section. An accordion style navigation allows the user to click and have further details expand.

Below is the Therapist page which categorizes each therapist by specialization, designation, and languages offered. It allows you to easily navigate and find a therapist that matches your needs.

Each therapist has their own profile page which lists their skills, history, and fee scale. You can then reach out to each therapist directly and book a session with them through a Jane booking portal.

Next, I’ve featured some responsive versions of the site. The placement and sizing of the text and photos adjusts for different size screens. This helps with usability, and will keep mobile users on the site. Check out the new website here.

It’s always great to work on projects that support something like mental health, bringing more awareness and making support more accessible.  Watch a video walk-through of the website below. View more about my web design packages here.
